Large works and small diary sketches by the artist Silvia Russel, inspired by the stories that locals in New York, Berlin and Amsterdam tell about their lives in the different neighbourhoods. Pencil drawings of Amsterdam locals that represent their daily lives in their community.

Photos
Portraits and still lifes by the photographer Anouk Kruithof (www.anoukkruithof.nl). She asked Amsterdam locals to represent their story about the neighbourhood as an imaginary drawing in space.

An introduction by Louky Keijsers, the founder and proprietor of the LMAKprojects gallery in New York, about her fascination with Russel's work. An essay by the art critic Mitchell Marco on the method and background of Silvia Russel¹s drawings and projects.
